Timothy M. Kolman

Mr. Kolman was recently inducted into the top 10% of employment lawyers in Pennsylvania, as evidenced by his Lawyers of Distinction award. Mr. Kolman is also a super lawyer with the top rating from Avvo and almost 50 wonderful endorsements from his clients. He has also been awarded the Lead Counsel Designation in Labor & and Employment Law for the second year in a row for his “profound legal experience, peer recommendations and spotless record.” He is also a member of the Million-Dollar Club and Multi-Million-Dollar Club, in recognition of his multi-million dollar settlements in employment matters.

Originally from London, England received his first law degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland with high honors and is a lifetime member of the Middle Temple Inns of Court in London. He then attended and received his 2nd law degree from The University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was an Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Kolman is a member of the United States Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Western District and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

A highly experienced lawyer accomplished in labor law, Mr. Kolman has represented hundreds of clients encompassing a wide variety of employment law matters. A combat veteran who knows how to challenge any opposition while genuinely caring for his clients. Mr. Kolman prides himself on an ability to embrace a case through his tenacity and his extensive trial skills. Wayne A. Ely

Wayne A. Ely

Wayne A. Ely is a highly accomplished trial lawyer specializing in employment discrimination, civil rights, commercial litigation and serious injury cases.  Mr. Ely has produced multi-million dollar results in a number of complex and difficult cases, and is a member of the exclusive Multi-million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national society of trial lawyers that limits its membership to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.  He has tried a variety of complex jury cases involving wrongful death, civil rights violations, employment discrimination, and serious personal injuries.

Mr. Ely graduated summa cum laude from Temple University and cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1993.  He was a member of the exclusive Temple Moot Court Honor Society and the Temple Environmental and Technology Law Journal.  He also received the Barrister’s Award for excellence in trial advocacy.  Prior to law school, he spent several years as a political and investigative journalist, receiving a Keystone Press Award for his investigative work in 1991.

Mr. Ely concentrates almost exclusively on trial work, and has successfully prosecuted and defended many difficult and unusual civil cases.  He is also an experienced appellate advocate and has argued several complex appeals successfully before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.  He recently argued and won an appeal in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on a novel issue of state privilege law.

Mr. Ely is a member of the bars of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

W. Charles Sipio

Mr. Sipio’s practice is focused primarily on employment law and federal litigation.

He has significant experience handling claims for clients that have been discriminated against in the workplace. Most claims are brought under a variety of federal anti-discrimination and “whistleblower” statutes. These laws include, but are not limited to, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act (“EPA”), the Family Medical and Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”) and the Dodd–Frank Act.

A serious part of his practice is also devoted to protecting the state law rights of employees. He has represented individuals that have made claims under the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (“PHRA”), the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law (“WPCL”) and the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law. He has also pursued claims for clients in New Jersey under laws such as the Law Against Discrimination (“NJLAD”) and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”). Some other areas of his practice include federal and state appellate litigation, employment contract disputes, False Claims Act (“FCA”) litigation and civil rights claims against municipalities.

Mr. Sipio was selected as a Super Lawyer for a second year in a row. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and Widener University School of Law (Delaware). Mr. Sipio is also member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Bucks County Bar Associations.
